Lark

The team at North Sails one design are no strangers to the Lark class and have got plenty of experience in building National Championship winning Lark sails. Nigel Young (One Design Manager) helped build the Lark sails that won the Nationals back in the early 90’s and now has brought his experience of building fast lark sails into the One Design Loft.

Jamie Lea will be looking after North's interest in the class, with the Olympic Gold medal winning design team here on site and the wealth of knowledge from Ian Simkins you can be sure that North Sails will be seen at the front of the fleet during the 2005 season.

Mainsail (IM-1)

The IM-1 Mainsail - Used to win the 2004 National Championships and numerous Championships over the last few years. With the knowledge that Ian Simkins has brought with him coupled with hands on sailing by Jamie Lea, North Sails really do build the fastest Lark sails in the country.

Constructed from Contender 3.8oz ripstop Polykote, it comes complete with Insignia, Sail Numbers, Battens, Tell Tales, Cunningham Block and Sail Bag.

Jib (IJ-1)

The IJ-1 Jib is designed to complement the IM-1 Mainsail perfectly. Constructed using Contender 3.8oz ripstop Polykote, it comes complete with Window, Tell tales, Luff Wire and Sail Bag.

Spinnaker (IS-1)

The IS-1 offers maximum projected area downwind while still remaining manageable on the reach.
